Position Overview

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Further Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics and a strong ability to teach advanced mathematical concepts.
• In addition to teaching Further Mathematics, the candidate will be responsible for preparing students for various examinations, including WAEC, IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, and GED.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards for Further Mathematics.
• Teach and assess students in WAEC, IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, and GED mathematics courses.
• Prepare students for examinations through targeted instruction and practice.
• Mark and provide constructive feedback on student assessments and assignments.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is added advantage)
• Relevant teaching certification and experience in teaching Further Mathematics.
• Experience in teaching and marking with WAEC, IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, and GED examination formats and requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
