Role Description

• This is a part-time role based in Lagos, Nigeria, for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor (Undergraduate – 300 Intern).
• The selected candidate will assist in preparing cost estimates, evaluating materials, and managing budgets for construction projects.
• Responsibilities include quantity takeoff, assisting with tender and contract documents, collaborating with project teams, and monitoring project expenditures.
• The role also involves generating progress reports and ensuring cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Quantity Surveying tasks including cost estimation, budgeting, and quantity takeoffs
• Familiarity with project management processes and tender documentation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with numerical data
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in using relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, and other construction-related tools
• Currently enrolled as a 300-level undergraduate student in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently on-site
