This is a part-time role based in Lagos, Nigeria, for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor (Undergraduate – 300 Intern).
The selected candidate will assist in preparing cost estimates, evaluating materials, and managing budgets for construction projects.
Responsibilities include quantity takeoff, assisting with tender and contract documents, collaborating with project teams, and monitoring project expenditures.
The role also involves generating progress reports and ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Quantity Surveying tasks including cost estimation, budgeting, and quantity takeoffs
Familiarity with project management processes and tender documentation
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with numerical data
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in using relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, and other construction-related tools
Currently enrolled as a 300-level undergraduate student in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently on-site
