We have built a digital mental health platform connecting people with convenient mental health support from the comfort of their homes.
We are seeking an experienced, communicative, technology-savvy, and compassionate clinical psychologist to join our team as a freelancer.
In this role, we are seeking staff to support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients.
You will work directly with clients via our platform to provide assessment, diagnosis, support, and treatment for mental health complaints and customize a care plan for each patient.
Job Description
Conduct regular appointments with clients who wish to converse with a mental health professional
Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
Display professionalism in attending appointments on time and prepared for the consultation
Implement various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations
Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments
When required, refer clients to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs
Maintain the strictest confidentiality of every client situation in adherence with local guidelines
Maintain all required licenses and the appropriate insurance
Share suggestions/feedback with the team on your experience.
Job Experience
Minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology
Meet all necessary licensure requirements to operate as a Clinical Psychologist in Nigeria including a full membership and legal state license from NACP
3+ years of clinical experience working directly with clients (ideally in a clinical/primary care setting)
Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office tools including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Up to date knowledge of evidence-based practices, treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field
Ability to provide patient counselling for low-mental health literacy communication (advising in multiple relevant languages is a plus)
Computer literacy and ability to navigate products built for mobile, tablets and laptop devices
Analytical, effective communicator, solution-oriented, strategic thinker and innovative
Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a start-up mentality
Ability to effectively manage time to deliver on long term projects
Friendly, enthusiastic, relationship builder and collaborator with excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills
