    National Sales Manager

    Role Summary

    • The National Sales Manager will be responsible for the revenue performance, operational excellence, and market expansion of all Rovingheights physical outlets, online platforms and B2B channels across Nigeria. You will lead the "Hub-and-Spoke" expansion strategy, ensuring that incumbent sales channels continue to grow and new stores hit their Year 1 profitability targets while maintaining the premium "Rovingheights Experience."

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth

    • Refine and execute the annual national sales plan to achieve 2026 revenue targets across all locations.
    • Implement dynamic pricing strategies and localized promotions for regional hubs (Abuja, Kaduna and Lagos)
    • Oversee the B2B / Corporate Sales division, targeting law firms, Corporates and schools, and multinational corporations in for library stocking and executive gifting.

    Regional Expansion & Operations

    • Standardize the "Rovingheights SOP" (Standard Operating Procedure) across new cities to ensure brand consistency.
    • Work closely with the Logistics Manager to optimize inventory turnover at the regional hub
    • Conduct monthly "Store Health Audits" focusing on visual merchandising, staff product knowledge, and customer wait times.

    Data Analytics & Inventory Management

    • Utilize POS data to identify "Dead Stock" and "Bestsellers" by region e.g ensuring a store doesn't sit on stock that is trending in another location.
    • Monitor Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV) for the new regional loyalty programs.

    Leadership & Talent Development

    • Recruit, train, and mentor Branch Managers for the new regional clusters.
    • Foster a high-performance culture through a "Book-Smart" sales team—ensuring every staff member is a literary consultant, not just a bookseller

    Candidate Profile (Requirements)

    • Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in Retail Management, FMCG, or Luxury Brand Management. Experience in scaling a multi-location business in Nigeria is non-negotiable.
    • Education: B.Sc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
    • Analytical Prowess: Proficiency in ERP/POS software and advanced Excel. You should be able to "tell a story" with sales data.
    • Cultural Fit: A genuine passion for literature and the African creative economy. You should know the difference between a "Man Booker" winner and a TikTok bestseller.
    • Mobility: Willingness to travel out of town to oversee regional operations.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • National Monthly Revenue Target: (As defined by the 2026 Financial Projection).
    • Inventory Turnover Ratio: Maintaining a healthy flow of goods with minimal aging stock.
    • NPS (Net Promoter Score): Maintaining a customer satisfaction rating of 90%+ across all regional branches.
