    Food & Beverage Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, lounge, room service, and event catering sections of the hotel.
    • The supervisor ensures excellent customer service, proper staff coordination, cleanliness, profitability, and smooth operation of all food and beverage activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise daily activities of restaurant, bar, kitchen support, and service staff
    • Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
    • Coordinate staff schedules, attendance, and shift duties
    • Train and mentor waiters, bartenders, stewards, and other F&B staff
    • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards
    • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained according to company policy
    • Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues quickly
    • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
    • Reduce wastage, theft, and unnecessary expenses within the department
    • Ensure proper cash handling and accurate sales reporting
    • Work closely with the kitchen and management team to improve operations
    • Assist in planning special events, promotions, and entertainment nights
    • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
    • Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for management

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
    • Minimum of 2–5 years experience in hospitality or restaurant supervision
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively
    • Good knowledge of food service operations and customer relations
    • Basic knowledge of inventory and sales reporting
    • Professional appearance and attitude
    • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts when necessary
