Fleet Recruitment Manager at Movam

Job Summary

• As a Recruitment Specialist for Logistics Partners at Movam, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, engage, and onboard 1PL (First-Party Logistics) and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers to expand our logistics network. Your role will involve end-to-end partner acquisition, from sourcing and evaluating potential logistics partners to negotiating service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring a seamless onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Acquisition & Recruitment

• Identify and build a pipeline of fleet partners, including both 1PL and 3PL providers.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract high-quality logistics partners that align with Movam’s operational needs.
• Conduct market research to identify potential logistics partners across different regions.

Evaluation & Due Diligence

• Assess prospective logistics partners based on fleet size, service capacity, operational reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct background checks, reference verification, and capability assessments to ensure quality partnerships.
• Evaluate partners' adherence to safety, maintenance, and operational standards before onboarding.

Contract Negotiation & SLA Management

• Lead negotiations with potential 3PL providers to establish favorable service-level agreements (SLAs) that align with Movam’s expectations.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and penalty/reward structures to maintain high service quality.
• Ensure legal and financial terms comply with company policies and industry standards.

Onboarding & Partner Integration

• Manage the entire onboarding process for new fleet partners, ensuring all necessary documentation, compliance checks, and system integrations are completed.
• Work closely with internal teams to facilitate a smooth transition for newly onboarded logistics providers into Movam’s network.
• Develop and implement training programs and orientation materials for partners to align with Movam’s standards.

Relationship Management & Performance Monitoring

• Maintain strong relationships with existing logistics partners and provide ongoing support.
• Monitor and evaluate partner performance against SLAs and KPIs, addressing any issues proactively.
• Continuously assess the logistics network to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in partner recruitment, business development, or logistics procurement, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to assess logistics providers’ capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Experience in fleet sourcing, onboarding, and relationship management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with logistics compliance regulations and industry best practices.
