Financial Controller at ISN Medical

• We are seeking a Finance Controller who will lead ISN Medical’s financial health and governance by delivering 100% exceptional financial reporting, strong internal controls fostering a high-performance finance team, and implementing strategies that drive financial excellence, sustainable achievement of growth targets, and year-on-year net profitability.
• This role manages budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and maintain the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CFO to develop financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth and profitability objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxation, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP and internal policies.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in financial statements and close all reporting periods within five (5) working days.
• Monitor financial performance and provide clear, actionable insights to management.
• Limit post-submission financial adjustments to a maximum of two (2) per quarter.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and all local statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and conduct quarterly risk reviews to achieve zero major or critical audit findings.
• Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors and regulators.
• Conduct bi-annual reviews of financial policies and procedures, updating them in line with best practices.
• Develop and present the annual budget by January 15 each year.
• Prepare and present quarterly rolling forecasts during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Achieve a minimum of 95% accuracy in revenue, cost, and profit forecasting.
• Provide data-driven financial analysis to support at least three (3) strategic business decisions annually.
• Reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) by at least 10% within the first year.
• Identify and automate at least 25% of manual finance processes within the first 12 months, delivering measurable efficiency and time savings.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support major investment and capital allocation decisions.
• Ensure all major projects achieve a minimum return on investment (ROI) of 15%.
• Build, lead, and retain a high-performing finance team.
• Ensure at least 90% of team members meet or exceed their annual performance objectives.
• Develop and implement a finance team skills enhancement plan within six (6) months of assumption of role.
• Support at least one professional certification per team member annually.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage).
• A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit is required.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA required.
• 7–10 years progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate finance principles.
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
