We are foremost transport company in Nigeria. In order to maintain leadership position within the top 3 we are building a strong HR team that would take the company to the next level. As a result there is vacancy for FINANCIAL CONTROLLER.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of financial statements from source documents
• Preparation of budgets
• Preparation of variance analysis and reports
• Preparation of bills and expense reports
• Preparation of Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement.
• Posting and Reconciliation of clients’ Accounts
• Preparation of monthly tax returns and ensuring compliance with payments and other tax requirements
• Interaction with project team and ensure prompt reconciliation of accounts.
• Double up as credit controller and ensure strict adherence to receivable policy.
• Ensuring a correct and coherent paper trail is maintained so that a detailed audit could be performed at a moment’s notice.
• He is responsible for tracking and maintaining company insurance policies.
• He develops the annual operating budget and consults with departmental heads on the fiscal aspects of salary recommendation, program planning and other administrative actions.
• Providing accurate accounting data/reports in a timely manner so as to be useful to the Managing Director and other department heads for forecasting, analysis etc.
• Generation of financial information and comment appropriately on every excerpt.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of BSc or HND in Accounting/Business Admin/Banking & Finance.
• ICAN or related certification will be an added advantage
