    Financial Analyst

    Job Summary

    • Landmark Africa Group is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our financial planning, decision-making, and business growth strategies. This role involves financial modeling, performance analysis, forecasting, and providing strategic insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop financial models, forecasts, and business performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
    • Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in the preparation of budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide variance analysis to ensure financial efficiency.
    • Revenue & Profitability Analysis: Analyze revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
    • Investment & Feasibility Studies: Conduct financial due diligence, risk assessment, and ROI evaluations for potential investments and business initiatives.
    • Data-Driven Insights: Extract and interpret financial data, generating insights that support leadership in business planning and expansion.
    • Market & Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends, economic indicators, and competitive benchmarks to assess financial risks and opportunities.
    • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for senior management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, operations, and business development teams to align financial strategies with overall company objectives.

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA is a plus).
    • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or a related industry.
    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, etc.).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
