    Finance & Operations Manager (Automobile)

    Job Summary:

    • This role combines hands-on financial management with end-to-end operational execution, ensuring the company builds strong internal controls, reliable reporting structures, disciplined cost management, and efficient operational processes to support rapid EV fleet expansion and revenue growth.
    • The position is intentionally structured as a leadership pipeline role, with performance-based progression into either CFO or COO.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Leadership & Governance

    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and expenditure control across business units.
    • Establish strong internal controls, audit readiness, and financial compliance processes.
    • Oversee bookkeeping accuracy, financial reporting, and statutory/tax compliance.
    • Produce monthly management accounts, board reports, and performance dashboards.
    • Track unit economics across EV sales, fleet operations, and charging infrastructure.
    • Support capital planning, funding readiness, and investor reporting as the company scales.

    Operations & Business Execution

    • Coordinate cross-functional execution across fleet operations, logistics, technology, HR, and training programs.
    • Build scalable workflows, SOPs, dashboards, and operational reporting structures.
    • Monitor operational KPIs including:
      • Fleet utilisation
      • Driver performance
      • Charging efficiency
      • Revenue per vehicle
      • Cost optimisation
      • Support expansion from early-stage operations toward multi-site, high-volume fleet scale.

    Administrative & Corporate Management

    • Oversee company-wide administrative systems, documentation, and compliance records.
    • Manage facilities, procurement controls, vendor coordination, and office governance.
    • Ensure strong information flow, documentation discipline, and process standardisation.
    • Support HR administration, onboarding processes, and organisational culture alignment.

    Ride-Hailing & Fleet Contract Oversight

    • Supervise onboarding of drivers and vehicles under partner ride-hailing programs.
    • Monitor contract compliance, daily fleet reporting, and payment validation.
    • Track operational and financial performance of ride-hailing partnerships.

    ​​​​​​​Technology, Data & Systems Discipline

    • Drive full adoption of Zoho-based operational and financial systems.
    • Ensure data integrity, real-time reporting, and system-first process execution.
    • Design executive dashboards and analytics for decision-making.

    EV Training Program & Scale Infrastructure

    • Provide financial and operational oversight for EV mechanic and charging training initiatives.
    • Track program costs, outcomes, partner coordination, and reporting metrics.
    • Support infrastructure planning for charging hubs, operational bases, and fleet growth.
    • The role will be focused also on ensuring that our Zoho Implementation is executed across the company.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
    • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.

    Professional Experience

    • 6–12 years experience spanning finance, operations, administration, or business management.

    Experience within:

    • Mobility, logistics, fleet, automotive, energy, or technology-enabled operations
    • Structured SME, manufacturing, or fast-growing start-up environments
    • Proven track record in financial control, operational scale, and cross-functional leadership.
    • Strong working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, preferably Zoho—alongside advanced Excel modelling and management reporting capabilities.
