    Senior Technical Procurement Officer

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    • The purpose of this job description is to define the strategic and operational requirements for a Senior Technical Procurement Officer.
    • This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end strategic sourcing and acquisition of aircraft components, ground support equipment, and specialized technical services.
    • This role ensures the seamless availability of critical assets while maintaining strict compliance with global aviation safety standards (FAA/EASA) and optimizing supply chain costs to support operational readiness and fleet reliability.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reviews present policies and procedures regarding purchasing and develops a system and technique of economical purchasing, and discusses with the supervisor.
    • Ensures that purchase orders are placed per existing company policy and procedures.
    • Designs and administers saving programs and procedures in coordination with the concerned sections.
    • Maintains updated price catalogues under his/her responsibility.
    • Assures five Rights prior to issuance of purchase orders.
    • Keeps records of vendors' performance & provides reports when required.
    • Prepares and reviews the monthly activities and submits to his immediate supervisor. Co-ordinates with finance and ensures that payments are affected in time.
    • Ensures that rejected materials are returned to vendor for credit or replacement. Periodically reviews open POs to ensure timely receipt and closure of the orders.
    • Evaluates vendors' Invoices & processes Change Notices for every repair order (RIO). Establish future requirements based on the historical compiled data.
    • Pursues warranty claims for materials that fail to provide service at the initial acquisition.
    • Reviews and negotiates on purchase/repair cost estimates before getting approval.
    • Expedites orders in coordination with vendors, logistics, freight forwarders and clearing agents. Co-ordinates with Stores, Logistics and maintenance planning regarding parts requirements and ensures availability of required parts for all aircraft undergoing major maintenance.
    • Administers warranty service agreements and ensures APL gets the maximum out of it. Keeps records of vendors' performance & provides reports when required.
    • Prepares and reviews the monthly activities and submits to his immediate supervisor upon request

    Senior Material Planner

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    • The purpose of this job description is to define the strategic and operational requirements for a Senior Materials Planner II. This role is responsible for Materials Planning of aircraft components, ground support equipment, and specialized technical services.
    • This role ensures the seamless availability of critical materials and tools while maintaining strict compliance with global aviation safety standards (FAA/EASA) and optimizing supply chain costs to support operational readiness and fleet reliability.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides service to the company through material requirement planning.
    • Perform periodic stock holding analysis to identify slow- and fast- moving parts.
    • Make provisioning of parts whenever there is a fleet phase-in program and perform major planning activities regarding material requirements.
    • Review and set Reorder Point, Safety Level and EOQ of each stock item to determine maximum/ minimum stock holding.
    • Creates parts' basic data and updates any inventory data in the system.
    • Review vendor's RSPL and reference manuals in co-ordination with CAMO and concerned users for initial & subsequent provisioning of aircraft/engine parts & tools.
    • Ensures that No-Go & Critical items are provided sufficiently to support the operation.
    • Evaluates inventory turnover and service level of each stock item to maintain optimum holding.
    • Reviews AOG purchases and advises courses of action to be taken to curtail the inventory cost involved.
    • Coordinates with stores, logistics and procurement to timely avail parts required for scheduled maintenance.
    • Prepare a monthly material activity report based on the monthly report generated from the system.
    • Evaluate reliability figures such as achieved MT BUR, scrap rate, etc., in consultation with CAMO to establish/adjust float level for addition/depletion of rotable spares required to achieve the service levels to support dispatch reliability.
    • Prepares and reviews the monthly activities reports on trends, stock status and adjustments and submits to the immediate supervisor.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain / Logistics Management/Engineering
    • Supply Chain or Professional Aviation Certifications
    • 3-7 years of job Experience in Aircraft materials Planning/ MRO Supply Chain/CAMO Engineering Support.
    • System & Technical Skills in ERP/ MRO Systems.
    • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge (Critical).
    • Soft Skills support in Analytical & data-driven decision-making, Cross- functional coordination (CAMO, Engineering, Stores, Procurement),
    • Cost awareness & negotiation mindset, Report writing and Presentation skills.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Provides service through material requirement planning, e.g. Material Availability Rate (%), MRP
    • Accuracy(%) (planned demand vs actual consumption) etc.
    • Stock Holding Analysis (Slow/Fast Moving): Periodic stock holding analysis, e.g. Inventory Turnover Ratio, Excess & Obsolete Inventory
    • Value (%), Slow-Moving Inventory Value (%) etc.
    • Fleet Phase-in & Major Provisioning: Provisioning during fleet phase-in e.g. Fleet Induction Readiness ( % ) (materials available by EIS date), Initial Provisioning Accuracy (%) etc.
    • Reorder Point, Safety Stock & EOQ Management: Set ROP, Safety Level, EOQ
    • Parts Master & Inventory Data Accuracy: Create and update parts basic data, e.g. Master Data Accuracy (%), Audit Findings Related to Inventory Data (Count) etc.
    • RSPL & Reference Manual Review: Review RSPL with CAMO & users e.g. RSPL Review Completion Rate (0/0), Tooling & Spares Readiness (%) & Provisioning Errors from RSPL Review (Count).

    Workshop Technician (Nitrogen Plant)

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The Workshop Technician will perform all the maintenance tasks on the Nitrogen Generators in accordance with OEM approved documentation and in compliance with Air Peace and regulatory requirements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Operations: Set up, operate, and monitor nitrogen generation equipment and mobile pumping units.
    • Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair on compressors, pumps, filters, and piping systems.
    • Process Control: Ensure nitrogen output meets specific purity, pressure, and flow rate requirements for Workshop processes.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with generators equipment.
    • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including handling high- pressure materials, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of gas usage, equipment performance, maintenance logs, and site surveys. Participate in all other Workshop tasks.
    • Undertaking such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the WIB workshop Supervisor or Workshop manager.

    EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or related field is often preferred.
    • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, particularly in relation to gas compressors and generators.
    • Experience: Previous experience in industrial field service, preferably with gas generation systems.
    • Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, pressure testing equipment, and diagnostic tools.
    • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • Achieve 95% of Target of Nitrogen availability
    • Quality of Component and Equipment Maintenance (MTBF)
    • Number of incidents / accidents on the Nitrogen generation process
    • Proper use of materials and consumables required for the Nitrogen generation maintenance.
