As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing core financial activities including accounting, reconciliations, reporting, budgeting support, and compliance.
You will ensure that financial records are accurate, timely, and in line with regulatory and internal control standards, while supporting management with reliable financial information for decision-making.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate general ledger records, post daily transactions, and support month-end and year-end closings
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly bank, wallet, intercompany, and FX account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly
Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and support regulatory and statutory filings
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, audits, and adherence to internal financial controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role within a financial institution
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, FinTrak, T24)
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and good understanding of regulatory requirements.
