The Finance Officer will play a key role in managing the financial cash flow of Pullus Africa. The primary responsibilities will include building budget forecasts, monitoring financial transactions, performing financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
The Finance Officer will work closely with the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
This is a 6-month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate budget forecasts for Pullus Africa.
Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Manage cash flow, including tracking revenue and expenses, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and service providers.
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with the management team to develop financial strategies and goals.
Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for audits or tax reporting.
Perform financial reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Provide financial support and guidance to other departments as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience (minimum 2 years) working in finance and accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build accurate budget forecasts and perform financial analysis.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Prior experience in the agricultural or agribusiness sector is a plus.
Knowledge of local and regional agricultural markets and financing mechanisms is desirable.
