Assist in preparing and updating bank reconciliation schedules to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal records.
Support the review and retirement of imprest by ensuring submitted expenses are accurate, complete, and compliant with internal financial policies.
Manage workflows for expenses and invoices by processing submissions, ensuring proper approvals, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Post approved invoices into the accounting system, ensuring correctness, proper coding, and timely entry.
Support payroll-related postings, including provisions for ITF, NSITF, and Pension, while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal procedures.
Provide general support for Finance Department activities.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent are an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or related functions
Knowledge & skills
Basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices
Bank reconciliation, invoice, and payroll processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and other financial management tools
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
Effective communication and reporting skills
Ability to collaborate and coordinate with team members
