We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial management within the non-profit sector
The successful candidate will assist our finance team with various tasks and projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Help with the reconciliation of accounts and financial data entry.
Participate in the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
Assist in the management of grants and funding, including tracking expenditures and preparing financial reports.
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Perform other administrative and financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
B.sc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good knowledge of Quickbooks Online
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to the mission of Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative
