    Finance Analyst (Supply Chain)

    ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

    • This role is part of Commercial Finance – Operations function of the BAT Factory in Ibadan, Nigeria.
    • The role is mainly responsible for all actions necessary for receiving the Export Expansion Grant (EEG), as well as for tracking the cost of logistics elements and for stock counts for assigned areas, checking against inventory counts.

    Reports to: Operations Commercial Finance Business Partnering

    WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

    • Sets required timelines for inputs from various departments.
    • Supports budget holders in carrying out detailed spend analysis on a monthly basis.
    • Engages both Internal (Supply Chain & Order To Cash) and External (Bank) stakeholders in collating EEG PICA and Documentations, as well as NXP tracking.
    • Coordinates and ensures successful monthly count and Finished Goods Stock quarterly count and reconciliation.
    • Delivers monthly Excise reconciliation and Asycuda (Customs portal) processes to enable prompt payment.
    • Monthly tracking of logistics cost and review of the cost.
    • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and validating required finance schedules both for internal and external requirements.
    • Supports month end processes by ensuring month end financials reflect reality and are in line with accounting standards.
    • Ensures assets are capitalised on a timely basis in line with company policy.

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • B.Sc. holder in Accounting, Economics, or other Social Science field.
    • Proficient in use of Microsoft office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in financial roles.
    • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills.
    • SAP or similar system Knowledge is a must.
    • Accounting certification in view or completed would be an added advantage.
