Field Engineer at Global Profilers

Job Description

• They are looking for a Field Engineer to join the Technical Department! As a Field Engineer, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our ISP network infrastructure to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain wireless and microwave networks
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support
• Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of ISP infrastructure
• Document and report on field activities and maintenance logs

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of ISP technologies (FTTH, FTTX, Wi-Fi, Microwave radio)
• Experience with fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, etc.)
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and access points
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in ISP field operations, fiber optics, and wireless networks
• Industry certifications (CCNA, Fiber Optic Certification, Mikrotik MTCNA/MTCRE) are an advantage.
