Perform various tasks related to livestock care, and general farm maintenance at Bereline Farms, following organic farming practices and safety protocols.
Feed, water, and care for livestock, including turkeys, chickens, cows, and fish, monitoring their health and well-being and providing necessary support.
Operate farm equipment and machinery safely and efficiently following proper operating procedures.
Assist with maintenance and repair tasks on-farm infrastructure, equipment, and facilities, such as fences, and buildings, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Follow instructions from farm supervisors and team leaders, working collaboratively with other farm workers to complete tasks and achieve production goals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Work Experience:
Previous experience in farming or agriculture is beneficial but not required.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
