    Facility Officer

    Responsibilities
    Facility Management:

    • Oversee the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities.
    • Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance services.
    • Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

    Preventive Maintenance:

    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and schedules.

    Safety and Security:

    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all facility occupants.
    • Collaborate with security personnel to enhance the security measures within the facilities.
    • Conduct regular safety drills and training for staff members.

    Space Planning:

    • Collaborate with relevant departments to plan and optimize office space layout.
    • Ensure efficient utilization of space and resources to meet the organization's needs.

    Environmental Sustainability:

    • Identify and implement environmentally friendly practices within the facilities.
    • Explore and recommend energy-efficient solutions to reduce the environmental impact.

    Emergency Response:

    • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios.
    • Coordinate emergency drills and provide training to staff on emergency procedures.

    Communication and Reporting:

    • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding facility-related matters.
    • Prepare regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and budget utilization.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure the facilities comply with local and national standards.
    • Work with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in facility management or a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure.
    • Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
