    Expatriate Managing Director

    You will be responsible for profitably growing and managing the business from end to end by setting the strategic priorities and direction, implementing the corporate vision as defined by the Board, and overseeing operations to ensure the achievement of the short- and long-term goals of the organisation and report directly to the Managing Partners.

    Responsibilities

    • Define and articulate the business’ strategic direction and ambition, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic objectives as defined by the Board
    • Cascade the strategic objectives of the business to the respective units and locations and champion the implementation of plans for achieving the set goals
    • Provide overall strategic leadership to all business locations, ensuring that established goals, objectives, and plans.
    • Review periodic management reports on the activities of the business locations for the Board’s review and propose actionable recommendations to ensure that targets are met.
    • Monitor local and global Industry trends to ensure that the business is able to maintain and sharpen its competitive positioning and advantage.
    • Perform other duties assigned

    Qualification / Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Chemistry or related filed
    • A post Graduate degree in Business and/or Management
    • At least 20 years of work experience, including 10 years of construction chemical industry experience and 5-8 years of experience in Senior management position.
    • Have extensive depth and breadth of expertise and experience in general management and/or functional leadership.
    • Hands-on management approach to workflow.
    • Proven track record of strategic financial leadership in a similar role with strong operational focus
    • Demonstrated strong ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at an executive level.
    • Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships and the capability to interact within all levels of the organization.
    • An Indian indigene is preferred
