    Events & Activation Officer

     

    Job Summary

    • The Events & Activation Officer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing creative events and brand activations that boost market visibility and drive customer engagement for a leading FMCG/lifestyle & beauty company. The role involves managing end-to-end event processes, handling vendors, optimizing activation impact, and ensuring all activities reflect the brand’s identity and support revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute activation strategies that position the brand competitively.
    • Create and manage event plans, timelines, and budgets for smooth execution.
    • Oversee on-ground event operations including setup, branding, staff coordination, engagement, and breakdown.
    • Lead the execution of pop-ups, mall activations, roadshows, experiential campaigns, and promotional events.
    • Negotiate and manage vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with marketing team members for campaign integration and content creation.
    • Capture customer data, track leads, and share insights with sales and marketing teams.
    • Prepare post-event reports covering engagement, attendance, leads, expenses, and ROI.
    • Monitor competitor activities and identify new activation opportunities.
    • Manage documentation such as contracts, proposals, permits, and activation calendars.
    • Maintain strong brand visibility through consistent and high-quality signage and merchandising.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, PR, Event Management, or related field.
    • 2–4 years hands-on experience in event management, experiential marketing, or brand activations.
    • Proven experience managing pop-ups, roadshows, mall activations, or promotional campaigns.
    • Strong vendor and team management experience.
    • Prior experience in FMCG, lifestyle, or beauty industry (especially hair care) is an advantage.
    • Strong customer engagement, logistics coordination, and crowd management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with adaptability and resilience.
