    Event Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Officer to join our team. 
    • In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that align with business objectives while ensuring a seamless client experience. 
    • Your focus will be on operational efficiency, revenue generation, and delivering high-quality events.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities
    The responsibilities of the Event Officer include but are not limited to:

    • Develop creative and well structured event concepts aligned with the company's brand.
    • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals.
    • Plan, design, and execute events while managing all project delivery elements within set timelines.
    • Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Organize event logistics, including venue selection, decor, catering, entertainment, guest lists, promotional materials, and equipment.
    • Secure partnerships and sponsorships to enhance event value.
    • Maintain high operational and service standards while minimizing damages (e.g. event utensils and equipment).
    • Negotiating deals with vendors, mode of payment and ensuring product supply are quality standard and acceptable.
    • Engage with potential clients through networking and outreach initiatives..
    • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.

    Job Specification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
    • 3 - 5 years of experience in event management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
    • Proven ability to oversee events, supervise and customer service excellence.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
    • Creativity and attention to detail in event execution.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Achieve 85% success on Event.
    • Maintain Event Operation and service standard.
    • Monthly Menu review.
    • Minimal damage (Event utensil).
    • Excellent cost management to actualize profitable percentage on ROI.
    • Source for event and sealed negotiation.
