    Equipment Manager & Business Development Specialist (Earth Moving Equipment, Low Loaders, etc)

    Job Summary

    • Our client is seeking a results-driven Equipment Manager & Business Development Specialist who will oversee the management and maintenance of Earth Moving Equipment.
    • In addition to managing the equipment lifecycle, this role will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to enhance the company's market presence and growth for those interested in hiring these equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment, ensuring all items are properly documented and tracked.
    • Oversee routine maintenance and repair schedules for all equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
    • Ensure all equipment complies with industry standards and regulations, maintaining up-to-date records of inspections and certifications.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of our Earth Moving Equipment, their features, benefits, and applications. Stay updated on industry trends.
    • Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert them into sales opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new prospects.
    • Monitor and report on business development activities and outcomes, providing regular updates to management.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of hire agreements, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms. Ensure mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and the customer.


    • BSc / HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment management, with at least 1 year in a business development role.
    • Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle management.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Proven track record in sales and business development.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining equipment records and client information.
