    Electrical Technician

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our oil palm processing operations in Odogbolu, Ogun State.
    • You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production in line with HSE standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, motors, control systems, and plant equipment.
    • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and electrical hazards.
    • Troubleshoot faults on 3-phase systems, PLCs, VFDs, and power distribution units.
    • Ensure all electrical work complies with Nigerian electrical codes, HSE regulations, and company standards.
    • Enforce lockout/tagout procedures and safe work permit systems alongside the HSE team.
    • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts usage.
    • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to support continuous production.
    • Assist with installation of new machinery and electrical upgrades.
    • Promote electrical safety awareness among operators and contractors

    Requirements

    • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Technician in manufacturing, agro-processing, FMCG, or industrial plants.
    • Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, motor controls, transformers, and industrial wiring.
    • Familiarity with Nigerian Electrical Standards and basic HSE practices.
    • Ability to read technical drawings and use test equipment: multimeter, clamp meter, megger
    • Good problem-solving and report-writing skills.
    • Basic computer skills for maintenance logs and documentation.
    • Ability to work shifts and respond to emergencies.

    Mill Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor daily mill operations, including sterilisation, digestion, pressing, clarification, and kernel recovery processes.
    • Conduct routine operational reviews and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and process performance.
    • Investigate and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and optimize output.
    • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are implemented and adhered to for all mill equipment and machinery.
    • Maintain product quality standards and ensure accurate production records, reports, and documentation are properly completed.
    • Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies, including PPE compliance, incident reporting, and risk management procedures.
    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise labour allocation for mill shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Monitor production activities and collaborate with relevant departments to achieve operational objectives.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field. Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 9 years' experience in palm oil milling operations, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
    • Strong knowledge of palm oil milling processes, equipment maintenance, and quality control systems.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Knowledge of relevant Nigerian regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

    Vulcanizer / Tyre Technician

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vulcanizer / Tyre Technician to support our fleet and equipment operations in Odogbolu, Ogun State.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for tyre repairs, preventive maintenance, and replacements to ensure safe and uninterrupted movement of vehicles and machinery in line with HSE standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Repair punctures, cuts, and sidewall damage on truck, tractor, and plant equipment tyres.
    • Conduct routine tyre inspections and pressure checks to prevent breakdowns and safety incidents.
    • Replace worn - out tyres and tubes; perform wheel balancing where required.
    • Maintain and operate vulcanizing equipment: air compressor, curing machine, and tyre changers.
    • Ensure all work complies with HSE regulations, company safety standards, and safe work procedures.
    • Support the HSE team by promoting safe tyre handling, storage, and disposal practices.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, tyre changes, and spare parts/inventory usage.
    • Respond promptly to emergency tyre issues to minimize equipment downtime.
    • Assist mechanics with wheel removal, fitting, and basic alignment checks.
    • Promote a safety culture through proper jacking, wheel chocking, and use of PPE.

    Requirements

    • Minimum SSCE / Trade Test Certificate in Vulcanizing or Auto Mechanics.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vulcanizer in manufacturing, Agro - processing, logistics, or industrial fleet operations.
    • Strong knowledge of heavy - duty truck, tractor, and forklift tyres used in plant operations
    • Familiarity with HSE practices and workshop safety standards.
    • Ability to read tyre specifications and use basic tools: pressure gauge, torque wrench.
    • Good problem - solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Basic record - keeping skills for maintenance logs and reporting.
    • Willingness to work shifts and respond to on-site breakdowns.
