    DSA Sales Specialist (B2B, B2C)

    Job Description

    • As a Solar Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and drive sales for solar energy products and services.
    • You will work closely with potential customers to educate them about the benefits of solar energy and help them make informed decisions about adopting solar solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new leads and prospects through various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
    • Consultative Selling: Engage with potential customers to understand their energy needs, explain the advantages of solar energy, and tailor solar solutions to meet their specific requirements.
    • Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations, showcasing the features, benefits, and cost savings associated with solar energy systems.
    • Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotes, including system design, financial analysis, and return on investment calculations, to present to potential customers.
    • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections throughout the sales process.
    • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers, aiming to secure agreements and close sales.
    • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineers and project managers, to ensure a smooth transition from sales to installation and project completion.
    • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and incentives related to solar energy to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
    • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline status, utilizing CRM systems or other tools.
    • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, addressing post-sale inquiries, and coordinating any necessary support or maintenance.

    Requirements

    • Education: While a specific degree may not be required, a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field can be advantageous.
    • Sales Experience: Proven track record in B2C or B2B sales, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry and banking sales specialist.
    • Solar Energy Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar energy systems, technologies, and their environmental and financial benefits.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information and build rapport with customers.
    • Consultative Selling: Ability to listen actively, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions based on their requirements.
    • Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently, set goals, and take initiative to generate leads and close sales.
    • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with solar energy system components, design principles, and installation processes is desirable.
    • Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial concepts, such as return on investment, payback periods, and financing options related to solar energy systems.
    • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and industry partners.
    • Results-Oriented: A driven and goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
