JOB SUMMARY

The driver’s responsibilities include ensuring that all transportation duties are carried out in a timely manner.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transporting staff as well as items to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of items when needed.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any payments issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
• Promptly reporting to the Facility Manager any documentation required for the vehicles or any due to expire.
• Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• At least an SSCE.
• Valid drivers license.
• Understanding of the city’s roads and traffic signs and regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to drive manual vehicle.
• Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
• Acceptable communication skills.
• Integrity and punctuality.
