Director, Physical Planning Department at The Federal University, Kashere, Gombe State

The Position

• The Director Physical Planning is a Management staff answerable to the Vice-Chancellor on the Physical Planning Development of the University
• He/she is responsible for the coordination and supervision of physical developmental projects; ensures quality, standard of the infrastructures of the University.

The Person

• The Director must be a person of high integrity who demonstrate transparency in public and private life as well as command the respect and loyalty of staff of the University
• He/she must also be receptive to new ideas and willing to translate them into new projects in line with the phased physical development plans of the University.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following:

• A good honors Degree and / or Master's Degree in Architecture, Quantity Survey, Building, Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized University with not less than fifteen (15) years cognate experience, eight (8) of which must be in a University system or similar tertiary Institutions.
• Candidates must have attained the position of Deputy Director or its equivalent in a University system or Tertiary Institution;
• Candidate must be registered with relevant professional body
• Candidate must be computer literate with working knowledge of relevant softwares.

• The Conditions of Service attached to the position of Director, Physical Planning Department are as obtainable in Federal Universities in Nigeria
• The salary and allowances are applicable to Officers on CONUNASS 15.
