About The Role

• The Director of Sales and Marketing plays a fundamental role in driving the business growth and brand visibility of a company, especially within the hospitality industry. This position requires strategic oversight of both sales and marketing initiatives to ensure revenue targets are met and the brand remains competitive in the market.

Roles And Responsibilities

• The efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• Defining target markets and develop a comprehensive pre-opening sales and marketing strategy.
• Leading efforts to build awareness of the hotel through digital marketing, public relations, and partnerships with local tourism boards, influencers, and media.
• Recruit, train, and lead the sales and marketing team, ensuring they are aligned with the hotel’s pre-opening goals.
• Set up sales processes, strategies, and targets for the team to secure initial bookings (corporate contracts, group bookings, events, etc.
• Build relationships with local businesses, corporations, travel agencies, tour operators, event planners, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Lead the development of the hotel’s online presence, including website, social media channels, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
• Work closely with the hotel’s General Manager and operations team to ensure that the guest experience matches the promises made through marketing.
• After opening, monitor the performance of all sales and marketing efforts, adapting strategies as needed to ensure continued growth.
• Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty.

• Pre-Opening experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of the local market is essential

• Digital marketing proficiency, including online sales channels and social media.
