Director of Research at The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA)

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a Director of Research at NACCIMA. The Director of Research will be responsible for designing and executing research strategies and projects that support the association’s mission. This includes conducting industry research, analyzing economic trends, preparing reports and policy documents, and providing actionable insights to guide decision-making. The role involves engaging with stakeholders, managing research teams, and ensuring the relevance and quality of research outputs to support policy advocacy and member services.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Research, Data Analysis, and Interpretation
• Experience in Policy Development, Strategic Planning, and Project Management
• Proficiency in Technical Writing, Reporting, and Document Presentation
• Knowledge of Nigerian economic sectors, particularly commerce, industry, mining, and agriculture
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Proven ability to manage and mentor research teams effectively
• Master’s degree or higher in Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Familiarity with relevant statistical tools and software
• Prior experience in a similar role, particularly within the private or public sector, is an added advantage
