Dimensional Marker / Fitter at African Industries Group (AIG)

Job Description

• We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dimensional Marker / Fitter to join our Production team.
• This role is ideal for a technically sound professional with a solid background in fabrication and structural marking.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate marking of structural components for cutting, drilling, notching, and other fabrication processes based on technical drawings.
• Read and interpret assembly and part drawings for various structural works.
• Utilize different measuring, marking, and cutting tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
• Work confidently with a wide range of structural materials used in fabrication.

Requirements
Mandatory:

• Diploma in Engineering or a High School Certificate with strong technical skills.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in fabrication or structural fitting roles.
• Proven experience in fabrication works related to:
  • Oil & Gas structural components
  • Transmission towers
  • Telecom towers
  • Solar structures.

Desired:

• Up to 8 years of relevant industry experience.
