Diligent Housekeeper at Greywood Hotels and Apartments

Job Summary

• We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hotel team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, well-maintained, and presented according to hotel standards.
• This position is crucial for providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and other assigned areas.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum rooms and public areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the Supervisor immediately.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Assist in laundry services when necessary.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous housekeeping experience (hotel or hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina – ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
