MEDA is an international economic development organization whose mission is to create business solutions to poverty. Founded in 1953 by a group of Mennonite business professionals, we partner with the poor to start or grow small and medium-sized businesses in developing regions around the world.
In Nigeria, MEDA is implementing the project Youth Entrepreneurship and Women’s Empowerment in Northern Nigeria project (also known as Nigeria WAY), with the financial support of Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The project seeks to advance equitable economic growth in Nigeria’s agricultural sector by sustainably raising the business performance of small-scale businesses and entrepreneurs, particularly those run by women and youth plus the value chains they depend on.
Reach: 41,000 direct beneficiaries. 16,000 being part of value chain crops of groundnut, soya-beans and rice originating in Bauchi state, and 25,000 community and family members with increased awareness and capacity on early and forced child marriages.
Project length – Seven (7) years. March 27, 2017, to March 31, 2024
Purpose:
MEDA Nigeria is developing a country strategic plan that will allow the Nigeria office to expand its funding portfolio, in other to increase its impact on the economic development sector of Nigeria by using her financial and technical expertise to build and enhance sustainable agri-food systems that provide decent work for systemically marginalized communities, including women and youth
In other to increase its funding portfolio, it is important to show case and highlight the impact MEDA has made over the last five years in Nigeria and share her success stories with the right audience. It is on the basis of this that MEDA wishes to engage the services of a Digital Content Producer
The Digital Content Producer will create, design and create media contents that share the Nigeria WAY stories and promote the activities through different digital products.

The Digital Content Producer will be expected to deliver generally on identified elements in the scope of work when requested by MEDA and provide documented report/advice accordingly.
DURATION:
The Digital Content Producer will be engaged on a consultancy basis which is expected to last for a period of six months with possibility of renewal.
