Job Description

• We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at our dental clinic.
• The primary responsibility of the Dental Hygienist is to provide comprehensive oral hygiene care to our patients and assist in promoting their overall dental health.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient education and preventive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
• Conduct thorough oral health assessments and screenings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants.
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures and provide chairside support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Dental Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 2-3 years experience in Dental therapy
• Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and techniques, with a focus on periodontal therapy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
