    Customer Service Specialist

    Job Summary:

    • We seek a highly organized and compassionate Customer Service specialist to join our team at Highland Church. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, reach out to first-time visitors, potential members, and existing members, and accurately process data.

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Welcome and engage with first-time visitors, potential members, and existing members.
    • Accurately input member data into the church database.
    • Provide information about church events, services, and programs.
    • Update existing member records and ensure data integrity.
    • Resolve member concerns and escalate issues to relevant departments.
    • Process membership applications, transfers, and other related documents.
    • Maintain accurate records of interactions.
    • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support church growth.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders, including the Senior Pastor, Central Executive Council (CEC), First Timer Unit, and Evangelism Unit, to develop and implement strategies for effectively retaining and integrating new members into the church community

    Requirements:

    • Munimum of OND in Mass Communications, English Language, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • 2years of experience in public relations, customer service, communications, or a similar role.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Compassionate and empathetic with a heart for serving others.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and database management.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
