Creative Writer at Oaks Intelligence

Role Overview:

• As a Storyteller and Copywriter at Oaks Intelligence Limited, you'll wear many hats, from crafting immersive narratives to leading a team of talented copywriters.
• You will know develop original story ideas, write captivating content, and inspire others to do the same.

Major Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop original story ideas across various mediums, including comics, short stories, novels, and more.
• Write persuasive and engaging copy for marketing materials, advertisements, and digital campaigns.
• Lead a team of copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the highest quality of work.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and other creative professionals to bring your stories and campaigns to life.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in storytelling and copywriting.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to gather information and insights for storytelling and copywriting projects.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts.
• Edit and proofread written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Assist in developing content strategies and editorial calendars to meet business objectives.
• Support other departments with writing needs, including internal communications, presentations, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years working experience writing stories (preferably comics) 
• Proven experience in creative writing and copywriting, with a portfolio showcasing your storytelling and copywriting skills.
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing a team of creative professionals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Proficiency in crafting narratives that captivate audiences and drive engagement.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and strategies is a plus.
• A BSc in English Language or a related field is an added advantage
