    Corporate & Event Sales Executive

    Role Summary

    • Are you a natural "hunter" with a passion for building relationships and a sweet spot for high-quality confectionery?
    • Our Client is looking for a proactive, results-driven Corporate & Event Sales Executive.
    • Your mission is to position the brand as the go-to partner for corporate celebrations and premium event catering.
    • This isn't just a desk job; you will be the face of the brand, securing high-value contracts with HR managers, event planners, and corporate decision-makers.

    Key Responsibilities
    Corporate Business Development (B2B):

    • Staff Engagement: Secure recurring orders for staff birthdays, work anniversaries, and "Employee of the Month" recognitions.
    • Client Gifting: Pitch and sell bespoke gifting packages, corporate hampers, and appreciation treats to companies for their clients and partners.
    • Corporate Events: Identify and close deals for office parties, product launches, conferences, and end-of-year town halls.

    Event Catering Sales:

    • Lead Sourcing: Proactively find and secure catering opportunities for weddings, milestone birthdays, and private social gatherings.
    • Strategic Networking: Build and manage a high-value network of event planners, venue managers, and decorators to ensure the brand is their preferred vendor.

    Active Lead Generation:

    • Direct Outreach: Conduct daily outreach via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Email to HR Managers, Admin Officers, and Office Managers.
    • Field Prospecting: Visit corporate hubs and event venues to initiate conversations and drop off brand collateral/samples.

    Relationship Management & Retention:

    • Transform one-off buyers into long-term corporate partners through exceptional follow-up and personalised service.
    • Maintain a "Corporate Calendar" to anticipate recurring annual needs for existing clients.

    Pipeline Management & Reporting:

    • Maintain 100% accuracy in the CRM, tracking every lead from initial contact to deal closure.
    • Provide weekly reports on new leads generated, conversion rates, and sales targets achieved.

    Requirements

    • Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in Sales or Business Development (Experience in Hospitality, FMCG, or Luxury Retail is a plus).
    • Network: An existing network of HR professionals or event planners in Lagos is highly sought-after.
    • Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • A good communicator: You can walk into a boardroom or send a cold LinkedIn message with equal confidence.
    • A "Hunter" Mentality: You don't wait for the phone to ring; you go out and find the business.
    • Highly Organised: You can juggle 20 different leads without letting a single one drop.
    • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable using CRM tools (Zoho), LinkedIn, and professional WhatsApp etiquette.
