• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, with a focus on traditional and cultural cuisines.
• Ensure all meals are prepared to meet high-quality standards in taste, presentation, and portion size.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Plan and execute daily menus, incorporating cultural dishes as requested.
• Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring adequate stock of ingredients and timely procurement of supplies.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
• Collaborate with the team to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.
• Innovate and introduce new recipes while preserving the authenticity of cultural meals.
• Manage time effectively to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a cook, with expertise in preparing cultural and traditional cuisines.
• Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Passion for cooking and creating authentic cultural dishes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
