    Client Acquisition Officer

    About the Company 

    Our client, a fast-growing leading company within the financial technology industry, is committed to delivering quality tech service solutions across Africa and is looking to employ a Client Acquisition Officer on a contract basis to drive the company\'s growth and is primarily responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing new clients. 

    Job Summary 

    The role focuses on initiating the sales process from lead generation through conversion, ensuring a robust pipeline that contributes to increased sales, market share, and long-term company profitability. 

    The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with a proven ability to close first-time purchases. 

    Job Responsibilities 

    Identify Opportunities: Proactively research and identify potential new clients and strategic business opportunities within target markets and industries.

    Execute a high volume of targeted outreach (cold calling, email, networking, social media) to generate and qualify new leads.

    • Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and analyse competitor activities to inform and refine acquisition strategies. 
    • Initiate, establish, and maintain contact with key decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective organisations. 
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and produce/service demonstrations that clearly articulate the company\'s value proposition and tailored solutions. 
    • Lead contract negotiations, finalise terms, and secure signed agreements for new client accounts. 
    • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and client acquisition targets. 
    • Collaborate closely with the Account Management and Operations teams to ensure a smooth, positive onboarding experience for new clients. 
    • Provide feedback to the product teams based on client interactions and market needs to optimize offerings and acquisition campaigns. 
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales progress. 
    • Track and report on key metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and revenue generated from new accounts. 

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor\'s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
    • 2-4 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a client/customer acquisition focused role. 
    • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. 
    • Strong focus on achieving measurable targets and driving business growth.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for persuasive pitching and professional correspondence. 
    • Ability to develop and execute targeted acquisition strategies. 
    • Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. 

    Target 

    5-10 businesses onboarded per month. 

    Compensation & Benefits 

    Salary Band: #150,000 - #200,000 (net).

    Commission

    • 10% of annual subscription
