Claims Survey and Inspection Officer at Cornerstone Insurance PLC

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a Claims Survey and Inspection Officer.
• The Claims Survey and Inspection Officer will be responsible for conducting risk assessment surveys, investigating claims, inspecting damaged properties, assessing damages, and ensuring compliance with the Company's underwriting policies and statutory regulations, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Insurance,Engineering or Surveying.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in claims assessment or surveying roles in the insurance industry
• Experience with risk assessment, investigation, property inspection, and damage assessment
• Excellent knowledge of the regulatory framework for the insurance industry
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and provide recommendations
• Proficiency in the use of office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and knowledge of relevant software and tools in the industry
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
