CIT Training Manager at Bemil Nigeria Limited

Position Overview

• The CIT Training Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering training programmes for Bemil's Cash-in-Transit (CIT) personnel, ensuring that drivers, crew members, supervisors and other operational staff have the knowledge, skills and discipline required to perform their duties safely and effectively.
• The role will work closely with CIT Operations, HR, Security and Management to identify competency gaps, strengthen operational readiness and ensure training reflects the actual risks and requirements of CIT operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and coordinate training programmes for CIT drivers, crew members, supervisors and operational personnel.
• Identify training needs based on operational incidents, performance gaps, audits, client requirements and changes in CIT procedures.
• Deliver practical and classroom-based training on CIT operations, security procedures, emergency response, incident management and operational standards.
• Ensure CIT personnel are trained on safe cash collection, handling, transportation and delivery procedures.
• Conduct refresher training following incidents, identified operational lapses or changes in procedures.
• Develop training materials, manuals, assessments, practical exercises and competency checklists.
• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure employee understanding and competence.
• Work with CIT Operations to ensure training reflects actual field conditions, routes, risks and operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance, assessment results and competency reports.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training and recommend corrective or additional interventions where required.
• Participate in operational reviews and investigations where training gaps may have contributed to an incident.
• Support the development and implementation of CIT training standards and competency requirements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly training reports for management.
• Ensure all training activities comply with Bemil's approved policies, procedures and operational standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Security Management, Criminology, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in CIT operations, security training, security operations or a related field.
• Practical experience in Cash-in-Transit operations is highly preferred.
• Previous experience training security personnel, CIT crew, drivers or operational teams is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of CIT risks, security procedures, incident management and operational controls.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
• Strong assessment, coaching and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to translate operational procedures into practical, easy-to-understand training.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work onsite and visit operational locations when required.
