Chief Product Officer at Ascentech Services Limited

Ascentech Services Limited is currently recruiting a Chief Product Officer on behalf of one of its clients a start-up renewable energy company with office in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Chief Product Officer will, together with the Chief Executive Officer, lead the company's drive for scalability and profitability over the next few years.

Summary of key responsibilities:

• Product development;
• Identification of new market opportunities;
• Creation and management of an online platform;
• Improvement of the product offerings;
• Improvement of the penetration of the products into different parts of the country.

Person attributes:

• Interest in socio-economic issues, and passionate about the environmental problems of the society at large.
• Self-driven, highly motivated and genuinely interested in building things (processes, patterns, etc.) from scratch for scalability and profitability.

Education, Skills & Experience:

• HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study. MBA/MSc in a relevant discipline will be a plus.
• 5+ years in a similar position in either the Fintech or Renewable Energy industry.
• Good communication, organisation and time management skills.

PS: The company is a start-up and so, candidates with previous experience in a similar business will be highly preferred.
