About the Job

• We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the company’s financial operations and strategy.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, risk management, investment oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance standards.
• This role requires a strategic thinker capable of driving growth, optimizing performance, and supporting the organization’s long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and sustainability.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and governance standards.
• Manage risk assessment frameworks and internal control systems.
• Lead financial reporting, analysis, and presentation to the MD/CEO and Board.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash flow management, and investment portfolios.
• Establish and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners.
• Conduct profitability and cost-benefit analyses to guide strategic decision-making.
• Drive cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and financial efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Master’s Degree (MBA, Finance, or related discipline) preferred.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior financial management roles, ideally within agribusiness, FMCG, or manufacturing.
• Strong background in financial strategy, investment management, and risk control.
• Proven success in leading financial restructuring, budgeting, and performance optimization.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
