Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) would be a member of the Executive Management team responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the organization. The CFO will oversee financial planning, budgeting, accounting, treasury, taxation, risk management, and financial reporting to ensure the organization\'s long-term financial health and sustainable growth and high figure on Return of Investmnt.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization\'s financial strategy in line with corporate objectives.
- Provide financial advice and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow, capital structure, investments, and financing activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls and risk management systems.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Lead external audits and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions and business expansion initiatives.
- Develop financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Master\'s degree (MBA Finance, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CIMA, or CFA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5 years as top management level, and 10 years in a senior leadership position as C-Level Employee preferred.
- Must have worked in well known oil & gas, manufacturing organizations.
- Must have met target on ROI of at most N500 Billion annual turnover
- Must have worked in a multinational with high ROI turnovers
- Must reside in Lagos.
