Summary

The ideal candidates would be responsible for setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes, who will be responsible to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Also, he/she should be familiar with sanitization regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
• Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
• Cook food in a timely manner.
• Ensure appealing plate presentation.
• Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients .
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
• Monitor food stock and place order.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Chef.
• Excellent record of kitchen management.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; MS Excel and MS word.
• A Culinary certificate  would be required.
• Keep up with cooking trends and best practices.
