Job Description

A Cattle Farm Manager is responsible for the day-to-day care and management of a herd of cattle. They ensure the health and welfare of the herd, as well as the efficient use of resources and the upkeep of farms. They also oversee the breeding, calving and marketing of cattle, and the maintenance of pastures and equipment

• Managing the day-to-day operations of a cattle farm
• Developing and implementing strategies for improving the performance of cattle
• Monitoring the health and welfare of cattle
• Ensuring that all cattle are treated humanely and are kept in suitable conditions
• Maintaining records of the number, type, and health of cattle
• Organizing the sale and purchase of cattle
• Arranging for transportation of cattle
• Ensuring that all legal and safety regulations are adhered to

Requirements

• Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
• Experience: 5 years min. in relevant field
