Call for Consultancy Service for Design/Development of Good Agricultural and Social and Behaviourial Change Communication Posters and Training Materials Practice Training Material at Nuru Nigeria

Nuru Nigeria is a local NGO with affiliates in the US, Kenya and Ethiopia, and started its operations in Northern Adamawa State(Michika) of Nigeria since 2018 and currently expanding its Operations to Adamawa Central (Hong and Gombi). Its mission is to end extreme poverty in the remote rural communities through agricultural interventions.
OPENING, EVALUATION OF TENDERS AND SELECTION CRITERIA
The opening and examination of tenders is for the purpose of checking whether the Proposal are complete and whether the quotation are generally in order.
Job Description;

• Produce graphical designs for use in printing Agricultural training materials (flip posters and training booklets).
• Translate concepts to high quality interactive graphic designs illustrating key context that meets organizational needs.
• Use state of art applications and graphical software such as CorelDraw, Adobe Design Suite and VR imagery applications to creatively illustrate Good Agricultural Practices through easy-to-understand visual contents with close to reality visual quality for farmers.
• Collaborate with program team to provide context specific descriptions for designed graphical contents.
• Work closely with the program team to review standard/quality of designs at intervals and work progress ensuring timely achievement of goals.
• Demonstrate originality and quality experience in modifying ideas to produce an engaging and sector-defining artwork in order to achieve desired outcome.

Requirements/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in Graphic Designing or related field.
• Strong technical skills in use of graphics designing tools with access to graphic designing soft wares and applications.
• Previous experience in working with development organization/NGO’s in designing of high-quality graphical content for Agricultural Training.
• Must present at least 3 work sample of previous designs of graphical contents preferably for training materials.
• Good understanding of the Northern local context and excellent language proficiency skills in Hausa.
