Business Transformation Manager (Sub Saharan African Region) Lagos at Nicole Sinclair Consulting

Our client is a prominent Pan-African conglomerate with over 60 years of multi-sector expertise in more than 20 African countries.

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Transformation Manager to lead our strategic transformation initiatives across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will drive enterprise-wide change to enhance operational efficiency, modernize business processes, and prepare our teams for ongoing transformation. You will not only spearhead process optimization efforts but also promote a cultural shift toward agility, innovation, and adaptability, ensuring our teams transition seamlessly and confidently.

Transformation Leadership

• Serve as the transformation lead across different business units, collaborating with senior stakeholders to define and implement the strategic change roadmap.
• Develop execution plans that clearly outline transformation objectives, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Establish governance structures and reporting frameworks to ensure the consistent oversight and delivery of transformation programs.

Process Optimization & Redesign

• Conduct thorough reviews of existing operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Lead business process reengineering initiatives to ensure workflows are streamlined.
• Align all process improvement efforts with strategic business objectives, ensuring new systems complement existing frameworks.

Organizational Readiness and Change Enablement

• Create and implement strategies that build organizational readiness for large-scale change, facilitating minimal disruption and maximum adoption.
• Develop change management plans that include effective communication, training, and engagement activities.
• Cultivate a mindset of continuous improvement and proactive adaptation to change within internal teams.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives; ensure timely tracking and reporting of outcomes.
• Analyze feedback and performance data to inform continuous improvement and necessary adjustments.

Capability & Culture Building

• Foster a transformation-focused mindset in the organization by enhancing existing strengths with new capabilities and tools.

Qualification/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business transformation, change management, operational excellence, or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in leading and delivering enterprise-wide change or transformation programs.
• Proven experience in business transformation or organizational change management.
• Familiarity with process optimization methodologies and change management frameworks.
• Stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience in a multi-sector or cross-functional environment is highly desirable, especially within emerging markets or large, complex organizations.
• Prior experience in consulting, strategy, or within a transformation office is a plus.
