    Business Development Professional

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify new business opportunities and markets within the oil and gas industry.
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase the company’s market share.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and client needs.
    • Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations to clients.
    • Drive the full business development cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure.
    • Collaborate with operations, technical, and finance teams to align service delivery with client requirements.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company policies in all business dealings.
    • Provide periodic reports and forecasts on business opportunities, pipeline, and revenue targets.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the oil and gas service sector.
    • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, especially upstream/midstream/downstream operations and services.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Experience in bidding, contract negotiation, and tender processes.
    • Results-driven and target-oriented mindset
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
