The Business Development Officer with Bid and Tendering expertise is responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing the end-to-end bidding process, and driving revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare competitive bids, developing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements to maximize win rates.
Research and identify new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, and conduct client meetings to understand needs and requirements.
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients to showcase the company’s offerings and capabilities.
Track and analyze industry trends to identify areas for growth and potential risks.
Developing strong internal relationships to optimise service delivery and ensure all practices are in line with internal guidelines and statutory requirements.
Ideal Profile
You have at least 3 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Utilities.
