Business Development Officer

Job Description
- Ensure that all new credit applications are dealt with in a timely manner
- Monitor existing loans and ensure compliance
- Be responsible for carrying out financial analysis of both new and existing credit applications and to ensure that adequate financial information on the borrowers is maintained
- Develop the lending skills of the Business Development team
- Meet loan targets as agreed with the Head of Business Development
- Meet with prospective clients and to be responsible for the finalization of credit proposals, with a recommendation for approval or decline
- Ensure that loan repayments are received when due
- Seek and originate new lending business
- Report any significant discrepancy on a loan
- Prepare Management reports
- Provide support to peers and others within Berkshire in uplifting its values and policies
